Dr. Jonathan Hersch is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon located in Boca Raton, Florida, who specializes in arthroscopic surgery and joint preservation.
A native New Yorker, Dr. Hersch completed his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine and then completed an internship in general surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. It was here that Dr. Hersch also completed his residencies in orthopedic surgery and arthroscopic surgery.
Dr. Hersch then relocated to Cleveland, Ohio, where he completed a Fellowship in sports medicine at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. While living in Cleveland, Dr. Hersch assisted the team physicians for the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Cleveland Rockers.
He then relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he was the Director of Sports Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center, as well as the Head Team Physician for La Salle University, NCAA. In 2004, Dr. Hersch relocated to Florida, where he has been the Medical Director for professional tennis organizations and Team Physician for several university and high school athletic programs. For the past 10 years, Dr. Hersch has worked as an Orthopedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine Physician at Palm Beach Health Network Physicians Group in Boca Raton.
Dr. Hersch is not only an accomplished surgeon but also an avid cyclist and pickleball player. Now Dr. Hersch has joined the premier orthopedic group in South Florida – Orthopedic Surgical Associates.
